Take a look at the photo below of how Christ Church appeared in 1928. This is one of four photos taken of the church interior and exterior by James Richardson, a well known photographer of the time. More photos will be added to the ‘about us’ page soon.
On Sunday 6 December a group from Christ Church participated in this popular and colourful community event. Although dwarfed by most of the other local organisations taking part in the parade the group still made a great impression. Click here for a photo.
Ably lead by Chris (who carried the cross with great effect) the group was able to give out hundreds of flyers advertising the church Christmas services and events. It certainly was a great opportunity to promote Christ Church to the community and to remind the people watching of the true ‘”reason for the season”.
Note that Pam Stone did her best to steal the show but unfortunately couldn’t compete with Santa on the day! Click here for a photo.
There are still several upcoming Christmas events
